"Run Devil Run" is a song Ke$ha provided the vocals in the demo for. The song was written by James Busbee, Kalle Engström,
and Alexander James.
With the demo, the writers were able to sell the song to a Korean agency SM Entertainment. Korean pop band, Girls' Generation (SNSD), released the official version in Korean (co-written by Hong Ji-yoo) with altered lyrics in 2010.
Background
Ke$ha had no intention of releasing the song under her own name because because she never had ownership (it wasn't recorded for her personal use). The demo has since been leaked online.
SNSD officially released the song as a digital single on January 9, 2010.
